I’m Dunn, an adventure and lifestyle photographer based in Boulder, Colorado. My work is rooted in a lifelong connection to the outdoors and shaped by the years I spent traveling across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Whether I was living out of the back of a pickup truck or settling into a single-room cabin in Idaho, those experiences taught me to slow down, pay attention, and immerse myself fully in the landscapes around me.
Growing up, the outdoors was a constant—camping, skiing, hunting, and long days spent exploring. Being surrounded by those environments sparked an early appreciation for the way places can influence us. Over time, that appreciation evolved into a desire to document not just what I saw, but what I felt. Earning a BA in Art with a focus in photography helped me refine that intention into a craft.
Today, my photography is driven by the belief that images should tell stories. Whether I’m shooting wide-open Western landscapes, documenting a day on the trail, or capturing the details of well-used gear, I aim to preserve the emotion of the moment. I want viewers to feel the cold air at a mountain pass, the quiet of an early morning camp, or the anticipation of a journey about to begin.
My experience behind the lens spans landscapes, adventure, lifestyle, and brand photography, giving me the flexibility to bring a wide range of creative visions to life. I work with people, products, and places that share a love for exploration and the outdoors.
At its core, my work is about connection—to land, to experience, and to story. I’m grateful to call Boulder home, and even more grateful for the chance to create images that reflect the sense of presence and adventure that first inspired me. If you have a vision that you want brought to life, lets connect!
